Job Summary
The Licensed Mental Health Professional plays a crucial role in the evaluation and treatment of patients situated in a correctional environment. This position focuses on performing intake evaluations, conducting diagnostic assessments, and delivering therapeutic interventions to address the mental health needs of inmates.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients.
- Provide therapeutic interventions tailored for individuals within a correctional setting.
- Monitor and address the clinical needs of patients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Manage crisis situations effectively.
- Collaborate with security personnel and healthcare staff to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a similar discipline.
- At least one year of experience in a mental health treatment program.
- Possession of appropriate licensure or eligibility for licensure.
