**Licensed Practical Nurse**
The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers thorough nursing care to inmates while working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include performing sick call assessments and administering necessary treatments. Additionally, the role involves keeping precise electronic medical records and handling controlled substances according to legal regulations. Applicants must hold a Practical Nurse license in Maryland and exhibit clinical proficiency. Experience within a correctional health care environment is an advantage.
