Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in the nursing process, focusing on patient assessment and the execution of treatment plans under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This position requires a commitment to maintaining patient safety and a therapeutic environment during care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and assist in the implementation of care plans as directed by an RN.
- Administer medications and perform various diagnostic tests.
- Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school is essential.
- Possession of a valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience is desirable.
- Ability to acquire CPR certification is mandatory.
