Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in the nursing process by evaluating patient conditions and executing treatment plans under the oversight of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position is essential in providing quality care and ensuring patients receive necessary interventions in a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health and implement treatment protocols as directed by an RN.
- Administer prescribed medications and conduct diagnostic tests.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in the medical records.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited nursing program and possess a valid LPN/LVN license.
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
