Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a crucial role in providing patient care by engaging in assessment, planning, and executing treatment plans within a correctional environment. This position requires a combination of clinical skills and adherence to healthcare protocols to ensure the well-being of patients.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to patients as prescribed.
- Performing various clinical procedures to assist in patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Possession of a current LVN or LPN license in the state of practice.
- IV certification is required.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience is expected.
