Job Summary
The Loan Accounting Specialist oversees the operations of multifamily loan portfolios, managing tasks such as processing construction advances, making escrow disbursements, and conducting reconciliations at the loan level. This role emphasizes maintaining adherence to regulatory standards and investor criteria while delivering excellent service to borrowers and property owners.
Responsibilities
- Manage multifamily loan portfolio activities, including but not limited to processing of construction advances and escrow disbursements.
- Conduct loan-level reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and investor requirements.
- Provide timely and responsive service to borrowers and property owners.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounting, audit, or loan servicing, ideally in a public sector setting.
- Preferred educational background includes an associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
