Job Summary
The Senior Claims Specialist is responsible for the management and coordination of a range of liability claims, including but not limited to general liability, auto liability, premises liability, and product liability. This role involves oversight of litigation processes, monitoring of reserves, and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to ensure claims are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate various types of liability claims, including general, auto, premises, and product liability.
- Oversee litigation processes related to claims.
- Monitor reserve levels to ensure adequate financial provisioning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely claim resolutions.
- Engage with external partners to drive favorable outcomes for claims.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of increasingly complex experience in managing liability claims.
- Strong analytical skills to assess claims effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficient negotiation skills to resolve disputes and facilitate settlements.
