Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Long Haul Fiber Splicers to join our team for itinerant field work. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing and maintaining fiber optic networks across various locations. This role requires exceptional technical skills and the ability to work in diverse environments, ensuring optimal connectivity and network performance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute splicing and termination for long haul fiber optic cables.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs for fiber optic systems.
  • Document all work completed and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working in the field.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fiber optic splicing and installation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of optical fiber networks.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and remote locations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Location

Various locations across the country.

Work Arrangement

Itinerant, requiring travel to job sites as needed.
