Job Summary
This position is responsible for delivering direct patient care in a clinical environment, guided by the oversight of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role involves evaluating patient requirements and consistently monitoring vital signs as part of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care while adhering to established protocols under the supervision of an LPN.
- Assess patient needs to provide appropriate care and support.
- Monitor and record vital signs regularly to ensure patient well-being.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all treatments and evaluations.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Must possess a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
