Job Summary
The Nursing Care Provider is responsible for delivering nursing services to residents while operating under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role encompasses administering medications and executing interdisciplinary care plans, ensuring a high standard of nursing care for residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as per protocols.
- Implement and follow interdisciplinary care plans.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to address residents’ needs.
- Supervise the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff to maintain compliance with care standards.
Qualifications
- Current State of Connecticut license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferred at least one year of clinical experience in a hospital or similar healthcare environment.
