Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care while working under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in supporting patients’ self-management and encourage positive behavior changes.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Possession of a valid nursing license in the state of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification before commencing duties in the unit, with ongoing maintenance required throughout employment.
