Job Summary
The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the setup and safe operation of high-speed production machinery dedicated to the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, ensuring all products meet specified standards. This position also encompasses carrying out quality inspections, overseeing machine performance, and performing minor troubleshooting tasks to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate high-speed production equipment to manufacture corrugated boxes.
- Perform quality inspections to verify that products meet specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and take necessary actions for improvement.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- A strong track record of reliability in previous roles.
- A minimum of six months’ experience as an Assistant Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematics at a high school level.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required.
