Job Summary
The Tool Room Technician plays a vital role in overseeing the distribution, retrieval, and inventory management of tools and equipment. Utilizing RFID and barcode technology, the technician ensures an organized and efficient tool room that meets established company standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the issuance and return of tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RFID and barcode systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure the tool room is well-organized and compliant with company policies.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.
- Capability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
