Machine Operator II

Pay: $22.19
The Machine Operator II is responsible for managing both automatic and semi-automatic machinery, adhering to set production and processing guidelines. This role involves closely monitoring instruments, gauges, and controls to ensure that products meet quality and production benchmarks.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator II:
- Operate production machinery according to specified guidelines to optimize efficiency, product quality, and output while reducing downtime.
- Set up, operate, modify, and carry out changeovers on both assembly and filling equipment.
- Safely initiate, halt, and oversee machinery operations, adhering to all emergency stop and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Maintain LOTO certification and ensure compliance with all safety protocols per company guidelines.
- Monitor the performance of machinery through control panels, touchscreens, and digital systems.
- Recognize, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues, performing minor repairs and adjustments in line with established procedures.
- Communicate any equipment failures, production challenges, and irregularities to the Production Leader or Supervisor.
- Keep precise production records, machine logs, and operating documentation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Verify the integrity of materials and components prior to production, reporting any discrepancies and aiding in inventory oversight in component staging areas.
- Conduct Cleaning and Sanitization (CNS) tasks and ensure a tidy, organized, and safe workplace while following cGMP and company safety guidelines.
- Effectively operate, set up, and manage Drum-Tote Filling equipment to meet production and quality demands.
- Exhibit a high sense of urgency, thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and assist in training colleagues as required.
- Carry out other production and operational tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications for the Machine Operator II:
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Proficient in reading and comprehending specifications and work directives.
- Experience with operating manufacturing machinery.
- Background in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
