Job Summary
The Machine Operator for the Graveyard shift plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process of automotive batteries. Located in Portland, Oregon, this full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to earn over $25 per hour and potentially exceed $80,000 annually with bonuses and overtime. This is a union position that emphasizes efficiency and precision.
Responsibilities
- Utilize semi-automated production machinery to effectively produce automotive batteries.
- Ensure that the machines operate smoothly and efficiently in a high-paced production environment.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machines as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production techniques and processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
