Job Summary
The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in operating CNC machinery such as lathes, mills, and saws to produce high-precision parts. This position involves making regular dimensional adjustments, measuring components, and ensuring thorough documentation that complies with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC equipment including lathes, mills, and saws for the fabrication of components.
- Perform routine adjustments to dimensions to meet specifications.
- Measure finished parts for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain precise documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 3-6 months of relevant experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery.
- Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
