Job Summary
The role of the Machine Operator – Injection Molding in Sterling Heights, Michigan entails managing production machinery and ensuring the quality of molded products. The operator is responsible for the effective operation of injection molding equipment and will maintain high standards of production output.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to ensure they are functioning efficiently.
- Conduct inspections on molded items to verify they meet quality standards.
- Alert supervisors regarding equipment concerns or any irregular operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machinery as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Capability to understand and follow safety procedures and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate issues clearly to supervision.
