Job Summary
The role involves the setup, operation, and upkeep of both manual and CNC machine tools, such as lathes and mills, to fabricate precise components based on technical specifications. The candidate will also be responsible for quality inspection of the finished products and other related tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision parts.
- Maintain machine tools to ensure optimal operation.
- Inspect completed components for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, making necessary modifications when needed.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manual and CNC machining.
- Capability to operate both manual and CNC lathes and mills effectively.
- Ability to read, modify, and understand technical drawings.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- At least four years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
