Maintenance Technician
Whitestown, IN
$25 – $30/HR

The Maintenance Technician is skilled in automation and robotics, taking charge of the upkeep and troubleshooting of machinery. Key responsibilities include executing preventive and predictive maintenance, overseeing documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and carrying out corrective repairs when necessary.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

  • Ensure the consistent functionality of production and automation machinery through effective troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Accurately document maintenance actions and keep records that comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Employ computer-based control systems (HMI/CMMS) for monitoring and troubleshooting activities.
  • Care for and maintain all tools and equipment properly.
  • Perform regular inspections and monitoring to proactively resolve potential issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets and objectives.
  • Exhibit flexibility in shift schedules as required to support operational needs.

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:

  • A minimum of 2+ years in maintenance or automation roles.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Capability to climb ladders, lift up to 60 lbs, and maintain safety around industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with software for reporting and documentation (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Experience with SolidWorks CAD is an asset.
  • Formal education is not mandatory; relevant hands-on experience is considered.
