Job description
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. This position requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine inspections to maintain equipment efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Perform preventative maintenance to avoid future breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure facility operations run smoothly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
