Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing facility. This role is essential for maintaining production efficiency and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production staff.
- Document maintenance actions and update service logs accurately.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and supervisors to improve processes.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of new technologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
