Job description
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of equipment and facilities. This position involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs on machinery and systems to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
