Job Summary
The Major Case Unit Adjuster plays a crucial role in the examination and resolution of intricate and significant transportation claims. This role encompasses the management of litigation strategies and associated legal costs. Additionally, the adjuster will work closely with internal teams to enhance technological tools and processes while upholding excellence in documentation and reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex and high-value transportation claims.
- Manage litigation strategy and oversee legal expenses related to claims.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance technology and improve process efficiencies.
- Ensure high standards of documentation and reporting are maintained.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in claims handling.
- At least 7 years of experience specifically with litigated claims.
- Possession of an active adjuster license.
- Thorough understanding of transportation coverages and medical terminology.
- Proficient in managing legal discovery processes and strategies.
