Job Summary
The Mammography Technologist plays a crucial role in utilizing imaging technology to generate clear and precise breast images, prioritizing both patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This position requires adherence to quality assurance protocols and meticulous maintenance of patient records to align with regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate mammography imaging equipment to obtain high-quality breast images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging procedures.
- Perform quality assurance evaluations to maintain the integrity of imaging equipment.
- Accurately maintain and manage patient records in compliance with established standards.
Qualifications
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Commitment to obtaining Mammography Certification within one year of employment.
- A high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds as required by the job.
