Job Summary
The Manager, Accounting is responsible for supervising general ledger operations, encompassing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards. This position emphasizes driving efficiency through process enhancements, including automation and AI initiatives, and maintaining robust internal controls in accordance with SOX regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activities and manage closing cycles on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensure accuracy of financial reports and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Implement process improvements leveraging automation and AI technology.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX compliance.
- Address complex accounting issues independently and develop effective cross-functional relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles and SOX compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to handle complex accounting matters autonomously.
- Exceptional skills in fostering relationships across various functions.
