Job Summary
The Infrastructure Operations Manager is responsible for directing the infrastructure operations sector, which includes the management of cloud and hybrid platform services, ensuring service health, and leading modernization efforts. This role entails providing leadership to staff, holding vendors accountable, and addressing intricate infrastructure escalations in a continuous 24×7 enterprise setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the infrastructure operations team.
- Oversee cloud and hybrid platform service delivery.
- Ensure the health and performance of service operations.
- Drive modernization initiatives within the infrastructure framework.
- Facilitate complex infrastructure issue resolution and escalations.
- Maintain accountability with vendors and service providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure or cloud operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in a people management role.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Azure and VMware.
- Proficiency in managing hybrid infrastructure environments.
