Job Summary
This position involves leading the manufacturing engineering team to facilitate the transition of the Ranger spacecraft program from development stages to high-rate production. You will be responsible for supervising production lines, designing equipment, and optimizing processes while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the manufacturing engineering team in transitioning the Ranger spacecraft program to production.
- Oversee production lines to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and implement equipment for improved manufacturing processes.
- Optimize processes to meet safety, quality, and throughput benchmarks.
Qualifications
- An advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree coupled with at least 4 years in engineering, production, or manufacturing operations.
- A minimum of 2 years of direct leadership experience is required.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Rockville, MD, and Tulsa, OK.
