Job Summary
The manager will oversee the daily management of environmental, laundry, and linen services, ensuring that all operations meet hygiene and infection control standards. This role is critical in maintaining quality service delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations in environmental, laundry, and linen services.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Manage staff recruitment and training initiatives.
- Administer departmental budgets effectively.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to secure quality supplies and services.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in either environmental or laundry services, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- An associate degree and CHESP certification are preferred qualifications.
