Job Summary
The Manager of Projects Vendor Management will oversee the administration and coordination of vendor partnerships within the HVAC and refrigeration sectors. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of project completions, fostering strong relationships with vendors, and enhancing the overall project productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage vendor selection and evaluation processes to align with project requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure vendor services meet project timelines and specifications.
- Monitor vendor performance, addressing any issues to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating contracts and resolving conflicts as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements in vendor operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business management or engineering.
- Proven experience in project management within HVAC and refrigeration sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
