Job Summary
The Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating underwriting processes for life, disability, and credit insurance lines while guaranteeing adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves managing team performance, creating insurance products, and assessing risks associated with individual and group accounts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee underwriting operations for various insurance types.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage and assess team performance to optimize productivity.
- Develop new insurance products to meet market demands.
- Evaluate and analyze risks for individual and group insurance accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in insurance underwriting and risk evaluation.
- Possession of a valid license from the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance as an Authorized Representative for Life and Disability.
