Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes, enhancing product quality, and implementing efficient manufacturing systems within the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the effective deployment of engineering principles in the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with design engineers to influence product design for manufacturability.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and participate in Kaizen events.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Support the training of production staff on new processes and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
