Job description
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing the production operations within the facility, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to safety regulations. This role includes leadership, strategic planning, and continuous improvement of manufacturing practices to meet overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance manufacturing effectiveness and productivity.
- Monitor production metrics to ensure compliance with company standards and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and inventory management.
- Identify areas for process improvements and drive initiatives for operational enhancements.
- Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance to team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing management.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
