Job description
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Training and Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the training programs within a manufacturing environment. This role aims to ensure that all employees are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job effectively and safely.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement training programs tailored to manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing training initiatives and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and develop relevant content.
- Coordinate on-the-job training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain records of employee training progress and certifications.
- Organize training schedules to ensure minimal disruption to production.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in training programs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions among employees to promote continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in training and development within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and effectiveness accurately.
- Proficiency in training software and tools is a plus.
