Job Summary
The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the production facility by ensuring the effective handling, organization, and shipment of materials and products. This position also provides essential support to the production team through the operation of machinery and the upkeep of a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the movement and organization of materials within the production area.
- Assist in the shipping of products as required.
- Operate various equipment, including forklifts and cranes, to handle materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
- Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is advantageous.
