Job Summary
The Mechanic IV role in San Antonio involves advanced technical proficiency in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. This position requires significant experience in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring the optimal performance of a fleet.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostics on various machinery and vehicles.
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks to restore equipment functionality.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the maintenance department.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a mechanic, preferably 4 years or more.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems of vehicles and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification from a recognized mechanic or vocational school is advantageous.
