**Mechanical Engineer II**
The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for executing standard to intermediate engineering tasks, which encompass designing quality control systems and optimizing manufacturing processes. This role also involves overseeing product development initiatives, establishing inspection criteria, and performing engineering evaluation tests to confirm the manufacturability of products. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Physics from a program accredited by ABET, alongside a minimum of 2 years of pertinent technical experience. Furthermore, candidates must be U.S. citizens and be eligible to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. Department of Energy.
