Job Summary
The Mechanical Process Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical processes at our facility in Alsip, Illinois. This onsite position is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance in machine setup and operation while meeting defined efficiency targets.
Responsibilities
- Optimize machine setup and operation to achieve set efficiency goals.
- Conduct feasibility reviews to assess process improvements.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with machine operation and setup methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
