Job description
**Medical Assistant**
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in managing patient records, measuring vital signs, and documenting medical histories in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. Responsibilities also include processing prescription refills, securing prior authorizations, and coordinating provider requests, including sleep studies and durable medical equipment setups. Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience as a medical assistant, ideally within a clinical environment. A certification as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is desirable, along with strong skills in EMR systems and the ability to collect vital signs.
