The Medical Assistant provides clinical and clerical support to the medical team, including preparing patients for exams, administering medications, and collecting laboratory samples. They also maintain exam rooms, manage medical records, and ensure compliance with health regulations and patient confidentiality. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant training program consistent with California Medical Board requirements. Current certifications in Venipuncture, CPR, and BLS are mandatory.
