Job Summary
This role involves executing clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs, administering medications, and gathering specimens while working under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Additionally, it encompasses administrative functions, including managing patient check-ins, maintaining charts, and greeting visitors.
Responsibilities
- Measure and record patients’ vital signs.
- Administer prescribed medications as directed.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Assist with patient check-in procedures.
- Keep patient charts organized and up to date.
- Welcome and provide support to visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess current AHA BLS certification.
- Valid certification as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA is mandatory.
