Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in providing quality healthcare and patient support. This position entails collaborating with a healthcare team to deliver practical nursing care, assisting patients with daily activities, and ensuring their well-being. The LPN is instrumental in monitoring patient progress and adhering to administrative protocols.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist with patient assessments and record medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Support patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
