Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing clinical care by effectively triaging patients, executing diagnostic tests, and ensuring the precision of electronic medical records. This position also includes overseeing back-office operations, facilitating patient referrals, and delivering outstanding customer service in a concierge style.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients to assess their healthcare needs and prioritize care.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures as required for patient assessment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
- Manage back-office operations efficiently.
- Coordinate patient referrals to appropriate services.
- Provide high-quality customer service that meets concierge-level standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current Medical Assistant certification or proof of BLS for on-the-job training is necessary.
- Previous experience in urgent care, primary care, or med spa environments is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills combined with excellent interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.
