Job Summary
The Cardiology Care Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the invasive cardiology laboratory by ensuring a secure procedural setting and the optimal functioning of essential equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe environment for procedures within the cardiology lab.
- Assist in the efficient turnover of the procedure rooms.
- Facilitate the transport of patients as needed.
- Oversee the management and organization of sterile supplies.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must acquire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within three months of commencement.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills is necessary.
- The ability to demonstrate proper aseptic technique is essential.
