Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves various clinical and administrative tasks that support healthcare professionals in a clinical setting, ensuring efficient operations and enhancing patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Manage patient appointment schedules and maintain accurate medical records.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
- Administer medications and assist with patient follow-up as directed by providers.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
