The Medical Support Specialist performs routine medical and testing procedures under the supervision of a clinician while assisting with patient flow and facility operations. They are responsible for accurate clinical documentation, patient preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly medical environment. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical assistant program or possess at least one year of direct patient care experience. Proficiency in medical terminology, occupational medicine requirements, and the ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA are required.
