Job Summary
The Clinical Care Registered Nurse (RN) position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients as part of a dedicated healthcare team. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while also providing education and support to patients and their families. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring patient safety and improving overall health outcomes through effective clinical practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Virginia RN license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a clinical nursing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
