The Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering patient care, collecting data, and supporting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures within an outpatient environment. Their duties also include managing appointment scheduling, recording patient information in electronic systems, and ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with the completion of a certified Medical Assistant training program or a year of applicable experience. Additionally, candidates must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid Medical Assistant certification or registration.
