The Medical Assistant performs general patient care duties including recording vitals, assisting with procedures, and managing patient flow. They also handle clerical tasks such as medical record organization and environmental maintenance to ensure clinic safety and efficiency. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and previous experience in a medical group practice. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within six months of hire.
