Job Summary
The Medical Assistant will engage in direct patient interactions, providing essential care services such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting physicians during specific procedures. This role also encompasses various clerical responsibilities aimed at ensuring streamlined operations within the medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct direct patient care activities, including taking vital signs and gathering specimens.
- Assist physicians with special medical procedures as needed.
- Handle clerical tasks including the maintenance of medical records.
- Manage inventory by stocking supplies for medical operations.
- Facilitate and improve patient flow within the practice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and certification is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
