Job description

Job Summary

The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical direction and delivery of healthcare services within an organization. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure the quality of care while aligning medical practices with organizational goals. The Medical Director will work closely with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership and guidance to the healthcare team to enhance clinical practices.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to promote best practices and improve patient care.
  • Evaluate and respond to quality improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of medical staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with appropriate board certification.
  • Extensive experience in a clinical leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing clinical programs.
