Job description
The Medical Laboratory Scientist plays a crucial role in executing lab tests, managing specimens, and conducting analyses that comply with CLIA standards. This position requires the maintenance of quality control documentation, recording of any corrective measures taken, and the guarantee of precise patient test result reporting. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences along with a valid Medical Technologist (ASCP) certification. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have 1-2 years of applicable laboratory experience to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
