We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Atlanta. The successful candidate will play a vital role in conducting blood bank procedures and supporting transfusion services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct blood bank testing and procedures to ensure safe blood transfusions.
- Perform advanced testing on donors and patients as required.
- Adhere to quality standards and established process controls in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care through accurate laboratory results.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a blood bank or transfusion services setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
